Ivanhoe. Over sixty illustrations

The famous novel by Walter Scott "Ivanhoe" became a classic of adventure literature in the early 19th century. The success of this work sparked interest in the history of the Middle Ages. "Ivanhoe" is the first novel in which Scott addresses a purely English theme, describing the feud between the Anglo-Saxons and Normans during the reign of Richard I. The text is presented in the translation by E. G. Beketova. The edition is adorned with beautiful illustrations by artists of the 19th-20th centuries — Adrien Marie, Henri Scott, Frederick Theodore Lix, and Edward Riou.
