Wide ribbons of expensive lace, ready-made outfits made of silk, velvet, and cashmere — you can find anything to your taste here! Young Denise Baudy does not believe she will end up on the other side of the counter. Having started working in the store as a salesperson, she is determined to climb to her goal — to make a career in order to support her brothers. Yet, in reality, all women want the same thing — to love and be loved. The store owner is fond of Denise, but Denise knows for sure: the story of Cinderella is just a fairy tale. But sometimes, though rarely, a fairy tale can become reality.
