Men Without Women

«Men Without Women», the title of the collection encapsulates the motif and key idea of all the novellas within it: the main characters are men, those who, for various reasons, have been abandoned by women, those who have lost the... love of their lives or have never achieved such a thing. Professor Mitsuyoshi Numano from Tokyo University wrote about the collection: «After reading, a bluesy melancholy lingers in the subconscious from the impossibility for women and men, even those closest to them, to truly understand each other's souls. Modern people, having lost faith in gods and their own purpose, have developed what can be called an "organ of loneliness", which helps them to lie even to those they love with all their hearts, and they are simply unable to rid themselves of this product of soul mutation.»
