Under one cover, four famous novels by the grandmaster of American science fiction are gathered. «Puppeteers» is a story about an invasion of Earth by alien parasites that subjugate human will. «Door into Summer» is a book about cats, the human heart, and how to find the Door into Summer. Finally, «Starship Troopers» (Hugo Award, 1960), where Earth is attacked by a civilization of intelligent insects, with whom it is impossible to negotiate, and the only thing left is to destroy them before they destroy us. The film adaptation by Paul Verhoeven brought additional fame to the novel, grossing huge box office numbers and increasing the number of the master’s devotees by hundreds of times.
