Young Guard

The story of a feat accomplished during the Great Patriotic War by members of the youth underground organization in the city of Krasnodon.

They managed to conduct their activities secretly until a regrettable blunder occurred, leading to a tragic finale.

The Komsomol members who participated in the underground movement were brutally tortured by the Nazis and thrown into mines, from which their remains were exhumed by Soviet soldiers and buried in March 1943.
