A hot June in 1941. Almost without encountering resistance, the fascist military armada is rapidly advancing deep into our country, to the east. Senior lieutenant of the border troops Kostya Bagryakov was caught on vacation when the war broke out,... and he was forced to make his way alone in pursuit of the retreating forces of the Red Army to catch up with his own.
In an inconspicuous Belarusian village, still not occupied by the Germans, he was taken in for the night by a young teacher named Oksana. From the very first minute in her hut, Kostya felt that something was off. She heated the bath without wood and stove. She cooked lunch over an unrecognizable fire. And she had strange candies that resembled chocolate shrapnel…
But what happened next truly shocked the young officer. Maybe Oksana is a witch? Then why, at the wave of her hand, did a long corridor with walls covered in shimmering purple lights open up in the wall of an ordinary rural hut? And there stood a man in some strange clothing…
