Crusaders

“Crusaders” — one of the best works of the Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz, a Nobel Prize laureate. The plot of the novel, reviving the pages of Poland's heroic past, is organically intertwined with the romantic story of young nobleman Zbyszko and the beautiful Danusia. The climax of the book is the battle of Grunwald, presented by Sienkiewicz as a Polish-Lithuanian triumph.
