Meanwhile, Paul Verhoeven in his sensational adaptation of the classic novel satirically sharpened Heinlein's «militaristic utopia», which, upon closer inspection, is not too distinguishable from a dystopia. The novel rightfully received the most prestigious of the «science fiction» awards - the «Hugo».
