Christmas on the Island

How is Christmas celebrated on the Scottish island of Muir – harsh, but incredibly beautiful? People get comfortable in front of a warm fireplace in pleasant company, raise their glasses, and exchange good news... But what to do if one... of these pieces of news is somehow awkward to say aloud? In general... Flora is preparing to give her former boss a big Christmas surprise. But will Joel be pleased? And someone is celebrating the bright holiday here for the first time, in this northern land. It is not easy for a single father with two sons – their homeland is far away. Will the small family find comfort, joy, and a new home in the hospitable Muir? The answer to this question can be found in the novella "The Distant Shore," which tells the backstory of some of the characters from the novels dedicated to the island of Muir.
