The Dumas Club, or The Shadow of Richelieu

Varo Borja, owner of the largest collection of rare books in Spain, hires Lucas Corso, an experienced bibliophile and seeker of unique books, to verify the authenticity of a book he has acquired, which was once condemned to the flames... by the Inquisition along with its publisher and survives only in three copies. Along with this, Corso must verify the authenticity of a manuscript of one of the chapters of "The Three Musketeers". The task is not easy. It is complicated by the fact that during its execution, death follows Lucas closely, but for the time being takes only those with whom he is dealing. What is it? A random coincidence? Or do the demons from the book on how to summon Lucifer from the darkness really come out of the gates of hell?
Based on the novel, the famous film by Roman Polanski "The Ninth Gate" (1999) was made, in which Johnny Depp played the main role.
