Dreaming of Florence

Returning home from work on her bicycle, Debbie accidentally knocks down a passerby. Fortunately, there were no serious consequences, unless you consider the acquaintance, a gift in the form of a new bicycle, and an invitation to dinner as such.... Debbie, a modest English teacher in Cambridge, is enchanted by the handsome and courteous Italian Pierluigi and his stories about his hometown Florence - the city of her dreams. What if this is a sign of fate and after a long solitude, Debbie finally met the man she dreamed of? However, soon Pierluigi has to return to his homeland. The brief romance is over, but the desire to see Florence (and perhaps her beloved) does not leave Debbie - and here she is on the banks of the Arno, under the luxurious Florentine sky, and whatever will be, for the dream has already come true halfway...
