The Ascension of the Lord. Anthology of Patristic Sermons

The anthology of patristic writings for the feast of the Ascension of the Lord includes works from various traditions and eras, by Byzantine, Latin, and Russian authors - from St. Athanasius the Great to St. Nicholas of Serbia. The publication is preceded by an introductory article by P. Yu. Malkov, intended to introduce the reader in a clear and accessible manner to the most important theological and moral features of the patristic teaching on the spiritual significance of this evangelical event.
