Viktor Tsoi can rightfully be called a symbolizing figure for Russian literature of the late 20th century. He was a person of great talent, which is confirmed by the inexhaustible interest in his poetry for forty years now. Universal images,... familiar symbols are read anew in different contexts and acquire new meanings each time. This is why each new generation rediscovers Tsoi's poetry. The book includes the entire corpus of texts written by Tsoi from 1982 to 1990, as well as rare photographs, drafts, autographs, and artifacts. Based on the surviving photocopies of the drafts of some poems, the author's orthography and punctuation have been restored, while the punctuation in other texts has been brought in line with modern standards.
