Viktor Tsoi can rightfully be called a symbolic figure for Russian literature of the late 20th century. He was a man of great talent, as evidenced by the inexhaustible interest in his poetry for already forty years. Universal images and... familiar symbols are constantly reinterpreted in new contexts and acquire new meanings. That is why each new generation rediscovers Tsoi's poetry. The book includes the entire corpus of texts written by Tsoi from 1982 to 1990, as well as rare photographs, drafts, autographs, and artifacts. Based on preserved photocopies of drafts for some poems, the author's spelling and punctuation have been restored; in other texts, punctuation has been adjusted to modern norms.
