The Outsider

A dead body of an eleven-year-old boy, brutally murdered, has been found in the park of the small town of Flint City. All evidence points to one person – Terry Maitland. A youth baseball team coach, an English teacher, a husband and father of two daughters – could he really be capable of such a thing? Moreover, Terry has an irrefutable alibi: at the time of the crime, he was in another city. But how could one and the same person be in two places at once? Or has something appeared in the city that can take the form of any person?.. Detective Ralph Anderson of the Flint City police and private investigator Holly Gibney from the Finders Keepers agency intend to uncover the truth, no matter the cost…
