South Sea Tales = Рассказы Южных морей

Jack London is a self-made man. Without receiving formal education, he read a lot from an early age — both fiction and philosophical and sociological works. He prepared for and enrolled in the University of California on his own, but... due to a lack of funds, he had to drop out after his third semester. A handyman, sailor, and later a farmer, who experienced the burden of physical labor, London eagerly absorbed knowledge throughout his life and, at an early age, was inspired by the dream of becoming a writer, as he had much to say to his readers.
The "calling card" of the famous American writer Jack London (1876–1916) is, of course, his stories about tough, courageous gold seekers, but the stories presented to the readers in "South Sea Tales" are equally captivating tales of bravery, valor, and love.
The book contains the unadapted text of the stories, accompanied by comments and a glossary.
