The Religion of Ancient Egyptians

In his book, the renowned German Egyptologist Alfred Wiedemann examines one of the most mysterious religions in the world. In Egypt, religion prevailed over all spheres of life. Every household item of the Egyptians was somehow related to the worship of higher powers. The ancient Egyptians believed in the immortality of the soul. Temples and tombs were decorated with scenes of eternal afterlife, which is why they were called — «houses of eternity».
