Marriage in the Name of the Alliance

With the arrival of aliens at the borders of the Earth Alliance, my life divided into "before" and "after". I was happy and loved, but the devourers from the depths of space killed my beloved. Years have passed since then,... the Alliance is trading with the aliens, and I... I feel as if I'm not living at all, existing without joy and hope. Something needs to change... And so I agree to my best friend's proposal to go to the "Commonwealth" station, where the Alliance collaborates with the devourers.
