Doctors who choose pathology as their career path are usually not very sociable. This is also true for Arya Nichols, an intern at New York University, who cannot stand living patients or even colleagues: the impulsive and sharp girl is irritated by their endless troubles and desires. However, during her internship at the Bureau of Forensic Medicine, she has to completely reevaluate her own principles: the corpse of a young woman that ends up on the autopsy table before the intern seems to speak to her, pleading for help, begging to uncover the truth. Will Arya be able to hear the victim's hints and see the dangerous case through to the end?
