The Lost World. The Poison Belt

This edition includes two fantastical novellas by the famous English writer Arthur Conan Doyle: «The Lost World» and «The Poison Belt», dedicated to the adventures of the renowned traveler and scientist, the eccentric Professor Challenger and his friends.
An expedition led by the celebrated explorer Professor Challenger ventures into the depths of South America to search for an unknown land, sketches of the extraordinary inhabitants of which were found in the album of a traveler-artist who died in an Indian settlement. The team of researchers is set to experience amazing and dangerous adventures in the «lost world» — a vast plateau deep in South America, inhabited by primitive people, dinosaurs, and prehistoric creatures that have already disappeared from other places on Earth.
However, after leaving one world, Professor Challenger predicts a catastrophe threatening Earth when it enters the orbit of the Poison Belt. Once again, the team comes together to save the world from impending danger.
