But getting to a tournament is not as easy as winning it... - this is what young knights, who have just received their titles, will have to deal with.
To increase their chances of success, they need to acquire good armor, swift steeds, and secure the favor of the heavens and the loyalty of allies. Valor will immortalize the victors through the ages!
About the game
"The Story of a Knight" is the Russian version of the strategy game Glory: A Game of Knights, dedicated to the magnificence of medieval knightly tournaments. Players will take on the role of a knight just starting his tournament career, competing against each other or non-player characters. And the most skilled and courageous fighter will be glorified and will enter the songs of minstrels.
How to play?
The game consists of several parts - before the tournaments, knights prepare for duels by praying in church, acquiring armor and steeds, and securing the support of townsfolk. For this, players place their tokens in different zones of the game board during the action phase, after which they travel, receive effects from the bonuses acquired in the refresh phase, and sign up for the tournament. The tournament consists of several duels, during which players roll dice and influence the results of the rolls using their abilities. After this, you move on to the title phase - if you fulfill the conditions from the title cards laid out at the beginning of the game, you earn glory points for them. There are two types of tournaments in the game, plezans, where players face off against each other and opponents controlled by the game in elimination rounds, and padarm, where players do not directly confront each other but compete in the number of victories over knights (non-player characters) in various cities of Europe.

Who won?
For winning a tournament, acquired titles, support, and other actions, players earn glory points. After three rounds, the game ends, points are counted, and the most celebrated knight rightfully earns the proud title of winner. If the number of glory points is tied among several contenders, the victory goes to the one with more prestige tokens, both used and unused.
