On Russian Literature

Dostoevsky is a master of everything. Not only a brilliant writer, thinker, and philosopher, but also an excellent publicist and literary critic. He found his own special literary genre in The Writer's Diary, and before that, together with his brother Mikhail, he was the publisher, editor, and author of the magazines Time and Epoch. In them, Fyodor Mikhailovich published his critical articles, notes, and reviews, in which he actively and wittily responded to important events in the social, cultural, public-political, and literary life of Russia during the transformative 1860s of the 19th century.
