Boris Messerer (b. 1933) – painter, graphic artist and set designer, author of the memoir book «The Flash of Bella».
The legendary ballet family of Messerers and Plisetskayas, working with the best theater directors, twenty solo exhibitions and, of course, a circle of friends – the artist was rightly called the king of bohemia. However, he always considered his main success in life to be the opportunity to engage in pure painting.
