The population of the afterlife world on Earth today is around one hundred billion people. They reside in the Egyptian Duat and in the Sumerian land of Kur-nugi, in the Germanic-Scandinavian Valhalla and in the Christian paradise... There have always... been close two-way connections between the world of the dead and the world of the living. Zoroastrian priests guided their envoys to the otherworldly realm with the help of drugs. Sailors like Odysseus and Brendan reached it on their ships. Some travelers, such as Dante Alighieri, left detailed travel notes. Archaeology has contributed to the study of the afterlife.
Olga Kolobova and Valery Ivanov, writing under the common pseudonym Oleg Ivik, worked for several years in archaeological expeditions in southern Russia. Constantly coming into contact with the afterlife, they posed the question: what are its political history, culture, geography, flora, and fauna?.. As a result of their research, this book was produced. It provides a brief historical and geographical overview of the largest states of the afterlife from ancient times to the present day.
