VIII century. The Tang Empire faces hard times. Governor-General An Lushan captures one of the capitals, while officials secretly belonging to the Golden Turtle faction attempt to tear the country apart from within, hiding behind the will of the emperor. The city of Changshan, the last stronghold of resistance on the way to the second capital, with the help of the Yang family and the remaining soldiers, repels fierce attacks from An Lushan's mercenaries. The Assassin must bring reinforcements, but such a turn of events contradicts the plans of the faction.
