Myths of Ancient Greece

Based on the myths of Ancient Greece, human culture has developed over the centuries: artists, poets, and sculptors have taken images and plots for their works from ancient mythology. In our speech, we still use expressions that originate in Ancient... Greece: "to vanish into thin air", "Pandora's box", "Sisyphean labor", and others. The myths are retold by Nikolai Albertovich Kun, a researcher of ancient Greek culture. Illustrations in the book are by Anna Vlasova, a member of the International Federation of Artists. The series "Books for Extracurricular Reading" is a selection of the main works of Russian and foreign authors included in the school curriculum.
