Memoirs of the Devil

French writer and playwright Frédéric Sullé (1800–1847) gained the widest recognition from the public during his lifetime. His plays were performed on renowned stages, and his books were repeatedly published and translated into other languages, but his greatest fame came... from his novel “Memoirs of the Devil.” Baron François Armand de Luizzi has, like all members of his kind, a special privilege — to enter into direct contact with the Devil and even command him (not for free, of course; that's not how it works with unclean forces).
