Mountains. A lonely village. Among the sheer cliffs hides a grotto, which the locals call the «grotto of the fairies». It is said that fairies used to hide stolen children there. Far from everyone lives Marietta with her son. For... many years, they have led a peaceful, secluded existence. The son possesses remarkable strength but has not spoken a word in his entire life. He is terrified of people and has the gift of communicating with animals and healing them.  In the area, everyone lives their mundane lives, until a tourist on a walk stumbles upon a little girl. This sudden encounter stirs everyone... «Like Beasts» — a story about the injustice of a society obsessed with rules and norms, a stinging slap in the face of the cruel reality hidden beneath the guise of a poetic tale.
