For many moons, the clans of cats lived under the protection of the stars and strictly followed the precepts of their ancestors, but the time has come when the warriors stopped heeding their stern warnings.
The Shadow Clan, reborn under the... leadership of Clawstar, is regaining its former strength and intends to reclaim the territory given to the Sky Cats. Border skirmishes between the new neighbors are becoming more
fierce, and disputes at the Councils are escalating into a real military conflict, where neither side is willing to make concessions. Clawstar offers the other leaders to share part of their possessions with the Sky Clan, but
finds no support among them. Dark clouds once again gather over the lands of the warrior cats...
The ancestors send a prophecy to the healers about the importance of unity, but their charges remain deaf: disputes about borders and territories now seem much more important to them than a shared future.
What awaits the clans, deprived of the protection of the stars? Will they be able to stand alone — or will they all be swept away into the abyss under the onslaught of a furious storm?..
