In his short life, Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov (1814–1841) wrote about 400 poems, many of which «became immortal in the mouths of the people», and some even turned into songs. When the name Lermontov is mentioned, images of his heroes, his portraits, drawings, his rebellious character, full of contradictions, and his tragic death in the «eternally-sorrowful duel...» immediately arise in the reader's mind. His work remains relevant even in the harshest times — is it not thanks to the exposure of the demonic tragedies of existence and the life sufferings of the lyrical hero?
