Magical Tales of Britain = English Fairy Tales

This book for those continuing to learn English (Intermediate) includes folk tales of Britain, recorded in the late 19th century by English writers and collectors of folklore. The tales included in this collection are very diverse, featuring magical, domestic, and... heroic plots. The reader will not remain indifferent to the unique English humor that is present in most of the tales.
The texts of the tales are adapted and supplemented with page-by-page commentary, as well as exercises aimed at practicing and consolidating lexical-grammatical material, and developing oral skills. At the end of the manual, there is an English-Russian dictionary with transcription.
