A Step from Eternity: How I Became a Cyborg to Defeat Death

In 2017, American robotics scientist Peter Scott-Morgan was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis—a disease that doctors deem incurable (this affliction once destroyed the nerve cells of Stephen Hawking).
