Writer Stuart Hogg, who recently basked in the glory of his debut novel's resounding success, is experiencing a creative block. The royalties have dried up, friends have scattered, and only his capricious dog Lulu and professional pride remain. But fate prepares a new test for Stuart when aging comic Sunny Day, a former king of eccentric comedy, offers him to become: a literary slave!
