Numbered painting 40x50 cm - Venetian Festival

The Venetian Carnival takes place before Lent in February or March and lasts 10 days. The most recognizable masks of the carnival are the bauta and the plague doctor. Despite its eerie appearance, the bauta was considered the perfect mask to remain incognito. Due to its specific shape, a person's voice changed, and the bottom part of the mask was designed so that a person could eat and drink without revealing their face.
