There is a belief that everyone who visits Pandora will inevitably fall in love. Pandora is an old house in Cyprus, which Helena, a professional ballerina, inherited from her godfather. In her youth, she spent a vacation there that changed... her life and about which she never told her loved ones. Years pass, and Helena arrives at the mansion with her husband and son. But the house is not without reason named so. Upon returning, Helena seems to open Pandora's Box, which keeps all her troubles and secrets. She re-encounters her first love – and this threatens to break her entire life. Moreover, her son Alex seems to be on the verge of repeating his mother's fate. Helena must find a common language with him again and determine for herself what is true in her life and what is not. 
Lucinda Riley was born in 1965 in Ireland and gained fame as a theater and film actress. Her life changed after the publication of her debut novel. Her most famous work, the series of novels "The Seven Sisters," became an international hit, translated into 37 languages, and nominated for numerous awards. Negotiations are underway for the creation of a series. In 2020, Lucinda Riley received a Platinum Award in the Netherlands for the number of books sold – the last time this award was given to J.K. Rowling for the Harry Potter series. Lucinda Riley lived many years in Norfolk, England, until she fulfilled a long-held dream – bought a secluded farmhouse in her homeland, Ireland, where the last five books were written. Lucinda Riley peacefully passed away in June 2021, surrounded by loved ones.
