Legendary Kayfolomy and Their Real Life. California

More than twelve years ago, a group of rebels called the Kayfolomy sacrificed their lives to save a mysterious little girl from the clutches of the despotic Syndicate of the best natural living. Today, the Kayfolomy survive only in memory... and aspirations, while SLEP casts its nets, ensnaring the girl into slavery. The girl has grown up and returned to human society, where she is perceived as a messiah. However, she knows nothing of her own essence. The new rebels are consumed by a thirst for blood, so the girl will have to look deep within herself to put an end to SLEP once and for all.

The original series of "Kayfolomy" from 2014 is now in a special edition, complete with a sketchbook and a gallery of covers. The script for this story was written by Gerard Way ("The Umbrella Academy") and Sean Simon (Collapser, "You Look Like Death. Stories from the Umbrella Academy"), beautifully illustrated by the award-winning Becky Cloonan ("Demo", "Conan the Barbarian"). The comic "Legendary Kayfolomy and Their Real Life" predicts a realistic future where fear reigns and freedom perishes.
