The Role of the Jewish People in the Development of Humanity

This issue is so old and so well known that it is difficult to say anything about it that wouldn't be a banality or a sign of prejudice (from the reader's perspective) and that wouldn't evoke, in the Jewish reader,... an undesirable reaction among other things.
However, it is useless to speak only what is acceptable or agrees with all points of view or summarizes everything that has been expressed so far. 
There are circumstances in the history of the Jewish people that are virtually unknown to the general public, and those that are known are spoken of in a spirit of bias, criticism, or anti-Semitism instead of speaking in a spirit of love, as we will attempt to do on these pages.
