Ro is in crisis. She can't find common ground with her mother, her boyfriend broke up with her to join a mission to Mars. The only thing giving her stability in this chaos is the giant Pacific octopus Dolores. However, a wealthy investor wants to buy the octopus, and Ro certainly won't be able to resist the inevitable, finding herself on the brink of self-destruction. She will have to decide whether to continue drifting with the current, swaying on the waves of life, or to be brave and dive headfirst into the uncontrollable flow, allowing the sea—and the world around her—to change...
