Vitaly Valentinovich Bianki (1894 –1959) is the most famous writer-naturalist, journalist, and educator. The collection includes twelve of his most famous tales: “How the Little Ant Rushed Home,” “The First Hunt,” “Forest Dwellings,” “Whose Nose is Better?” and others. Vitaly... Bianki created a new type of fairy tale for children, a scientific one. And indeed, all of the author's works written for children combine elements of a classic fairy tale with accurate facts about living nature and the surrounding world. The writer's tales, while entertaining the child, open up the world of animals and natural phenomena, its laws, and interconnections. The book is prepared for the 130th anniversary of Vitaly Bianki's birth.
