Stop the mind, turning to God

Sai Baba calls his lectures not speeches but conversations, interspersing great sayings from the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and other sacred texts with engaging stories from life, parables, legends from epics, and mythological plots. In his conversations, he reminds man... that he is a child of immortality, that he needs to let go of the feeling that he is only the body. His teaching is directed at everyone: the body is not you, it is just a house for your true "Self," that God resides in the heart of everyone and this eternally alive divine spark is you, YOU YOURSELF. Everything else is a mirage, an illusion. He describes in detail the ways to free oneself from this illusion and achieve liberation.
For convenience of reading, long paragraphs are broken into shorter ones, and the speeches are divided into several parts, each given separate subheadings.
