Live and Let Live

Arthur Ophof's life is dull and monotonous. Working at a toilet paper manufacturing company, with boring colleagues, a fastidious wife, a commute to work, a commute home, and golf with friends on Fridays – all of this has merged into one gray and joyless day for him. And now he realizes that he's quietly transformed from a dreaming youth into an office worker with a belly and depression, the love for his wife has faded, he has not managed to have children, and he is about to turn fifty. It seems that there is no way out of this swamp. And then he gets fired from his job. For someone, this dismissal might be the final blow, but Arthur Ophof sees it as a call to action.
