The first grade for the girl Dune - very ordinary, just happy - is coming to an end. Summer is about to begin, and if everything goes well, Dune will see her best friend Ella-Frieda: she moved to another city.... Maybe she can visit her? But first, there’s one more important thing: the graduation! Now the class will no longer be the youngest, and each student will gain the right to be called a real schooler. This is a great reason to wear a beautiful dress, decorate the classroom, smile and rejoice all evening - in joy, the heroine knows a lot! She even has a notebook to record the best moments, with the cover that says: "My happy life". This was also the title of the first book by Russe Lagerkrantz about Dune, and you are now holding the third one.
Dune made up with her classmates Vicky and Mickey, and now they even help her: for example, they shared buttons to hang her gorgeous drawn rose on the wall. Difficulties are generally something that always stays behind!
Dune prefers not to think about bad moments: it's better to leap over them - and move on. But she had no idea that there are such moments that can't be jumped over just like that, without preparation. Like that Wednesday, when her grandmother unexpectedly came to pick her up from school instead of her dad.
