The manual is prepared for children who already know the letters. The main objectives of the publication are: to improve reading skills and techniques; to consolidate knowledge of vowel and consonant sounds and letters; to introduce the syllable as a part of the word and the sentence as a syntactic unit of the Russian language; to reinforce skills in writing in print letters. The proposed exercises contribute to the development of attention, memory, thinking, coherent speech, and enrich the child's vocabulary. The manual is intended for classes with children in preparation for school and is addressed to educators of preschool educational institutions, tutors, and parents.
