Snowpiercer: The Graphic Novel

An ecological catastrophe has plunged the world into a new ice age. The last bastion of humanity is a unique autonomous train that has been traveling around the planet for many years, protecting its passengers from the deadly cold. The world of this train is hierarchical and unjust: at the front of the train are golden carriages for the aristocracy, who enjoy all the benefits of the new life, while at the back, the poor live a miserable existence and die of hunger and disease.
The post-apocalyptic world of the graphic novel «Snowpiercer» served as the basis for the plot of the film of the same name by Bong Joon-ho, released in 2013. This edition includes unique sketches and drawings by Jean-Marc Rochette, made at the director's request specifically for the film.
Based on the comic, a series was also made, starring Jennifer Connelly in the lead role. The premiere took place in May 2020 on Netflix.
The edition includes Jacques Lob's graphic novel «Snowpiercer» (1982) and the continuing comics about life on the train, «The Traveler» (1999) and «The Crossing» (2000), written by Benjamin Legrand. The artist of the entire series is Jean-Marc Rochette.
