The First Daughter

The lands of Seylok are cursed. In those parts, girls are not born. Alba is the first and only daughter, born in Seylok almost in two decades. The secret of her origin is known only to the king, who attained the throne through lies, murders, and treachery.

The king raises Alba as his own daughter. From childhood, the princess is guarded by the best warriors. Among them is Bayr, a quiet young man endowed with superhuman strength. Alba grows up feeling his care even from a distance when Bayr fights against the enemies of his clan.

She dreams of Bayr and waits for his return from war. But the king prepares a different fate for them. Alba and Bayr become too dangerous; their alliance could strip the king of power and position. Can their love break the curse of Seylok and the magic of the runes to defeat the king?
