The familiar universe of DC has come to an end. An epidemic of the Anti-Life virus has ravaged Earth, turning people – and almost all heroes – into mindless, gluttonous zombies. The Justice League is no more. Survivors desperately cling to life, but so far only super-beings with the darkest souls have been able to fight off the virus! A deadly squad of villains and anti-heroes, led by the greatest killer on the planet, Deathstroke, has dealt with the first wave of the epidemic. The immortal genius Vandal Savage has called them to his side to protect the last survivors. Meanwhile, the Red Hood – a no-holds-barred superhero known as Jason Todd, the former Robin – has gathered a team of crime fighters to confront the darkness.
