Geometry Around Us. Drawing on Graph Paper for Children Aged 5-7

The workbook is used in preschool and at home to develop mathematical concepts and solve problems in the educational area of "Cognitive Development". The child performs tasks during practical activities - drawing symbolic representations of objects from geometric shapes in... a graph paper notebook. The goals of various tasks are to draw an object from one or several geometric shapes based on a template, from memory, and then create their own version of the drawing. By working in the notebook, the child learns to plan their actions; develops attention, memory, imagination, fine motor skills, independence; acquires the skills necessary for forming prerequisites for educational activities. The tasks are grouped by lexical themes, which also allows addressing the child's speech development needs.
The section "Geometric Shapes" is included in all new generation educational programs.
