The passenger airliner Boeing 737-800 is a representative of the NG (Next Generation) generation of the Boeing 737 family. The aircraft was developed to replace the 737-400 model and... differs from the latter with a new wing, tail assembly, digital cockpit, and more advanced engines. The Boeing 737-800 has been in operation with airlines since April 1998 and continues to be produced serially. The 737-800 is the most popular model among all NG generation aircraft.
