Chronicles of the Wandering Cat

«Chronicles of the Wandering Cat» – a bestseller by Hiro Arikawa that has captured the hearts of millions of readers around the world.
This is a touching story of the friendship between a cat with the «happy» name Nana, which means «seven» in Japanese, and his owner Satoru. At the same time, it is a travel novel in which the characters move both in space and time: Nana discovers the boundless sea expanses and the beauty of Mount Fuji, while Satoru seems to relive the events of his childhood and youth.
At first glance, the cat Nana, acting as the narrator, is a realist and a pragmatist to the core, with his own strictly feline philosophy of life. However, he manages to penetrate so deeply into the inner world of his owner that sometimes he understands him better than he understands himself. What are they to each other? Why does Satoru repeatedly set off on a journey, taking his beloved cat with him?..
