This manual will help beginners studying the Korean language master the Korean phonetic writing system hangul and the reading technique.
The manual explains the writing of all letters of the Korean alphabet, explains the principles of recording Korean syllables, and also... the rules for reading them. In addition to theoretical foundations, the book contains a large number of exercises in both handwriting and phonetic formats for learning the reading technique in Korean.
The authors of the manual, Chun In Sun and A.V. Pogadaeva, are recognized specialists in the Korean language and Korean literature, teachers at the Institute of Asian and African Studies of MSU and the Institute of Eastern Cultures and Antiquity of RGGU.
