Autistic Child: Paths to Help

The book is dedicated to one of the complex and mysterious disorders of children's mental development—early childhood autism. It highlights the features and difficulties of mental development and socialization of autistic children, outlining ways to assist in their education and family upbringing. Issues of diagnosing young children are discussed; approaches to providing help are proposed for both comparatively mild and quite severe cases of childhood autism. Recommendations are based on the experience of many years of work by specialists from the Institute of Correctional Pedagogy.
