Autistic Child. Ways of Assistance

The book is dedicated to one of the complex and mysterious disorders of mental development in children—early childhood autism. It highlights the characteristics and difficulties of mental development and socialization of autistic children, outlining ways to assist in their education and family upbringing. The problems of diagnosing young children are discussed; approaches to providing assistance are proposed for both relatively mild and quite severe cases of childhood autism. Recommendations are based on the experience of many years of work by specialists at the Institute of Correctional Pedagogy.
